Players & Controls Hub

Own A Grocery Store is the wiki name for Own A Market, the Roblox tycoon/sim from dev-devs. You run a plot in a six-player server, stock shelves, hire help, and rebirth to goldify products. This Players Hub is about how you play—active grinding, AFK setups, offline income, and leaderboard pacing—not a character roster.

If you just joined, read Getting Started and the controls and UI page before you spend your first cash pile. Robux Shop buyers should skim gamepasses before VIP or Double Cash; collectors can track badges after Market 1 is humming. Product and upgrade priorities live on the Tier List Hub, with splits for products and upgrades. Money routes sit in Make Money Fast and the Rebirth guide.

Active floor play

The default playstyle is simple: you are the first worker. Stand on green (or red, when locked) floor pads to buy paths, registers, shelves, animals, and decorations. Pick up bananas, corn, eggs, milk, and later processed goods, then drop them on the matching shelf. Cash appears as piles on the floor—collect them so you can buy the next pad.

Early on, bananas and corn are the engine. Corn also feeds chickens (eggs) and cows (milk), so leaving the trough empty stalls two product lines at once. Hire a cashier when queues form, then a farmer so corn does not depend on you. Speed and stack upgrades on yourself are cheap compared with a second floor; buy them when a pad is not immediately available.

Stay on store 1 until the plot is dense: workers covering the main loops, animals producing, and customers actually buying what you stock. Unlock Grocery Store 2 only when that loop is boring because it is full, not because you first saw the $30,000 Markets button.

AFK, gifts, and offline earnings

Own A Market pays while you are offline, which is the whole point of hiring. Before you log out: fill shelves, feed animals, and leave workers on the job. Empty corn is the usual AFK fail.

In-session, claim Daily rewards and Gifts whenever they pop. Like the game and join the group for the free-cash grant the experience description advertises. There are still no promo codes as of this writing—do not hunt a codes GUI that does not exist yet.

If public servers hitch (six plots plus animals and customers), use the free VIP server. Lag makes pads miss purchases and cash piles easy to ignore, which is worse than a quiet private plot.

Auto-collect and auto-farm scripts exist for players who accept that risk; read the Scripts Hub notes first. This hub assumes you are playing the intended loop.

Leaderboards and long sessions

Leaderboards reward patience more than a lucky pad. Public stats in this game’s life have shown deep rebirth counts and eight-figure cash on dedicated accounts. That is a long project, not a first-evening goal.

A leaderboard-minded session looks like: max the current store’s useful pads, keep production from stalling, cash out piles often enough that you can buy the next income pad, then stop expanding into vanity decor until the rebirth planner says the goldify is worth the reset. Watch neighboring plots in your six-player lobby—good layouts are visible from the shared space.

When to rebirth versus expand

Rebirth goldifies products so they sell for more, then wipes your money and pad progress. First rebirth is commonly in the $50,000 range with about a 25% value bump; later rebirths cost more (players have seen a follow-up near $75,000). Exact numbers can change in updates, so always read the Rebirth icon in-game.

Expand when a pad raises throughput: extra production, a worker, stack/speed, or floor two on a store you already understand. Rebirth when store 1 is maxed and income is high enough that rebuilding is a chore, not a crisis. Buying Grocery Store 2 at $30,000 right before a rebirth is usually a waste—you are about to reset.

Use the Tools Hub and Guides Hub together: planner for the decision, money guide for the rebuild, product tier list so you do not restock junk first.

The game launched on 16 January 2026, sits around 30 million visits, and still runs the same core loop. Playstyles did not get replaced by a battle pass; they got a second market and a Contracts-era title. Master the floor, then argue with the rebirth button.

If you are unsure whether you are “behind,” compare your plot to the other five in the lobby instead of a YouTube max-run. Most visits bounce in minutes. A clean store 1 with fed animals and claimed gifts already beats the average session.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Own A Grocery Store on Roblox.

Is this a character or roster wiki?

No. Own A Market has no hero roster. Use this hub for playstyles, then controls for the UI and the tier lists for what to buy.

Should I AFK on a public server?

You can, but six-player plots plus customers can lag. Hire workers, fill shelves, feed animals, then prefer a free VIP server if the floor stutters.

When do I rebirth instead of opening store 2?

Max store 1 and its income first. Grocery Store 2 costs $30,000 and does not replace goldify. See the rebirth planner and unlock store 2.

Do offline earnings work if shelves are empty?

The market generates money while you are away, but empty shelves and unfed chickens or cows starve the loop. Stock and feed before you quit.

Are there codes that skip the grind?

Not yet. Claim dailies, gifts, like-and-group cash, then watch the codes page after updates.
